ABOUT THE EVENT

How can stories make a meaningful impact? Active Vista gathers storytellers from various creative forms in a conversation about creating art that matters.

Featuring social impact producers, filmmakers, artists, narrative changemakers, and cultural practitioners, the event aims to probe the crucial role of the creative practice in exposing social ills, recentering marginalized narratives, and presenting reimagined visions of the future. It provides the space to intentionally gather to share knowledge and insights;  learn skills and strategies in the narrative change field; and explore collaboration and catalyze alignment with diverse movements working in various social advocacies. It weaves a multi-disciplinary lens to creative narrative initiatives toward strengthening the community of practice in storytelling that drives  strategic social impact.
