LOGLINE
In an effort to get closer to his grandparents, the shy grandson of two prominent activists confronts their past, revealing a family legacy that is linked to his country’s history.
SYNOPSIS
Growing up, Miguel had always been aware of his grandparents’ role in the Philippine leftist movement— but only peripherally. After his Grandpa suffered from a near-fatal illness, he decided to begin trying to understand who his grandparents really were. However, this was more difficult than he thought.
For Miguel, unearthing a family history that was intertwined with his country’s was intimidating. This film explores what happens to revolutionaries–and those closest to them–after the revolution moves on.
