In partnership with The Virgin Labfest, Active Vista presents a compelling theatrical event that confronts the grim realities of Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs, which began in 2016 and claimed an estimated 30,000 lives through extrajudicial killings. Featuring three one-act plays, each staged reading offers a distinct reflection on the drug war’s profound effects on Philippine society. The reading serves as both a tribute to the victims and a powerful call to action, highlighting the need for collective remembrance and resistance.
The Digital Museum of Martial Law in the Philippines is an immersive, critical, and creative virtual space for historical education about the Martial Law era.
